Taksim Galatist Hotel

I want to thank the team for looking after us, especially Kadir. Hospitality was very good food and beverages were perfect. Food was fresh and delicious. Beverages ☕️ were perfectly made hot and cold drinks. And also want to thank Ali too. 😊 keep up the good work your doing great.

This hotel is excellent! After an unfortunate experience with TK Airlines that caused us to miss our stopover accommodation, we searched for a hotel near Taksim with an 8+ rating on Booking.com. The Taksim Galatist Hotel came up at half the price of a hotel recommended by a friend. As a family of three, we were concerned about the room options since some listings suggested we would need to book two separate rooms. However, Taksim Galatist Hotel offered us a room with a double bed and a sofa bed, which was perfect. When we arrived, we were amazed by the hotel's surrounding location—it felt so authentically Istanbul! The area is vibrant, with plenty of food options, outdoor cafes, and a lively atmosphere 24 hours a day. The room itself was excellent. There was a separate room with a double bed and TV for (obviously) my wife and me :) and the sofa bed also had a TV for our son, what great facilities!!! It was a cosy and well-thought-out space for a family. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. After our stressful experience with the airline, we were worried that our stay might be challenging, but the staff at Taksim Galatist Hotel changed our impression entirely. Maryam was extremely helpful and responsive, even sharing her contact number so we could ask for assistance at any time. But, the other staff members were also very helpful, assisting us with our three large suitcases and three hand luggage. Maryam also helped us plan our itinerary, which we didn't have any idea before. Honestly, this hotel made our stopover holiday so much better after the challenges we faced with TK Airlines. If you're looking for a safe and enjoyable stay, with easy access to shisha, smoking, hot sand coffee (literally just in front of this hotel), and plenty of local food options within 100 meters, this is the place to be!

I travelled with my two kids, 16 and 11. Was a bit concerned about the trip but it was just amazing. The property was no doubt was very good, great location, lovely staff with always welcoming attitude and happy to help. Room sizes and bed are true to size. Bathroom had all the basic facilities including great water flow to shower. Very very close to İstiklal St. McDonald was literally just two minutes walk away . The best thing is safety, security and respect. The arranged room cleaning service daily upon our request. Nice latest system , Everything was really good. The price I paid was very reasonable as compared to other hotels in surrounding. Got a lovely deal in a package I should say…..😁

The hotel is quite solid for this value. 4 of us were in one apartment and it wasn't cramped at all. Normal-sized shower cubicle with good water pressure (that's always important to me). Excellent location, friendly stuff. :)

The hotel is not luxurious, but it is clean and has everything you need, a fridge and a kettle in the room, towels are changed every day and they are very, very friendly. Most speak English. We had a wonderful time, it is on the main street of Iştiklaj and very close to Taksim Square, where there is also a metro and funicular to the port of Kabataş. We recommend.
